Ticketing and admission policy

  • You must reserve a ticket in order to enter the permanent galleries and temporary exhibitions at the Oman Across Ages Museum.
  • The admission ticket consists of a ticket number, entry location, category and number, date and time of reservation, price and expiry date if it was reserved for more than one day.
  • You may reserve an entry ticket via the reception desk, self-service kiosks, website or application.
    Please note that the ticket becomes invalid after the specified day of reservation.
  • You may also reserve a ticket through the following:
    - An active membership of the Oman Across Ages Museum.
    - A valid staff ID from one of the institutions sponsoring or organising an event.
    - A valid journalist ID for the purpose of covering a particular event or promoting the Museum.
    - Exceptional visits offered by the Oman Across Ages Museum’s administration.
    - Free or discounted entry is allowed based on the terms of the Oman Across Ages Museum specified in the Admission Fees of the Oman Across Ages Museum attached.
  • Entry tickets are subject to inspection by the Visitor Service staff.
  • Reselling of entry tickets is strictly not allowed.
  • The entry tickets to the exhibitions may be rejected if the Oman Across Ages Museum discovers they were not issued by the Oman Across Ages Museum or a licensed institution or authority.
  • The Oman Across Ages Museum may reject entry, close any of its facilities, or cancel reservations without previous notice, reason, or explanation at any time. In this case, the visitor will be compensated for all tickets issued on that particular day.
  • Entry to the permanent galleries and temporary exhibitions outside official working hours must have a permit. This requires previous permission by the Oman Across Ages Museum’s administration.
  • Tickets may be refunded or re-scheduled upon providing reasonable explanation. This can only be done at the reception desk.
  • Ticket validity is 24 hours.
